Work Days, Oct. 16 to 22

If you are looking for something to do during the break, stop on by and lend a hand at the farm.  It's a great chance to spend some quality time in the great outdoors while prepping our garden for the winter months ahead.

Monday, Oct. 17 from 9:30 to 11:30 we'll weed the root beds and start building a new compost pile.

Wednesday, Oct. 19 from 9:30 to 11:30 we'll weed the flower beds .

Thursday, Oct. 20 from 9:30 to 11:30 we'll weed the leaf beds, finish building and transplanting into the new leaf bed and divide and replant the sorrel.

Even if you only come for 15 minutes, every little bit helps.  The garden thrives the more people show up to help out.

Here are Rula and Dani ridding a bed of the last of that pesky wiregrass.  Thy did an excellent job.  The bed is now full of arugula, dill, lettuce, spinach, cilantro, collards and mustard.  Almost no wiregrass to be found anywhere.  Thank you Rula and Dani!
